Iris Frame (1915-2003) was a self-described ‘naive’ artist based in the South East of South Australia. Frame had a wonderful eye for detail and her style was bold and colourful. She celebrated the everyday life of people and animals, and her images tell stories from events and places that made a strong impression on her. Her stories include ‘swaggies’ on the road, sweethearts, Australian animals, the search for home, the
Royals, and the local landscape.
