WALKWAY GALLERY BEN QUILTY [install shot

Located in the redeveloped Tataira Civic Centre, the Walkway Gallery supports work of local Tatiara (and Limestone Coast) artists and arts organisations, as well as giving visitors the opportunity to engage with important work by significant and established artists.

Education and public programs, including kid’s art classes and youth initiatives are aligned with the exhibitions program and are a regular feature.

The Tatiara District Council has a small Art and Heritage Collection which includes paintings, textiles, mosaics and sculpture. Artworks are displayed at the Tatiara Civic Centre, the Council’s Chambers and various sites around the region. Council supports a biennial acquisitive Art Prize with a total prize pool of $12,000 open to all Australian artists.
